These were originally supplied with my 40 year old C107 and 26 year old W126 when I bought them new, also a W123 wagon which I wish I had kept. There have been subtle changes since the mid-seventies. Older ('76) gray is slightly heavier shiny leather, gloss black plastic hardware with tiny Mercedes stars, no logo in the leather. New fob is essentially same as the dark burgundy one from late 1990... star stamped in the leather, simulated stitch pattern at the edges. Painted hardware and matte finish are only real changes on the new one. Good to know they are back. Thanks. Just right for keys of that era.

Just what I wanted. Quite authentic. The paint on the plastic fastener matches the leather color, but will quickly rub away if in contact with other objects in your pocket.

This classic leather key fob fits my factory 1971 300SEL key perfectly and is a close match to the original interior color. It looks great with the Mercedes logo embossed into the leather.
