New Engine Oil Filter Housing - with improved design

Fits late 190SL as well as 230SL, 250SL, 280SL and
other Mercedes models - See Listing below.

Includes set of genuine Mercedes Seals, including filter base
seal, mounting bolt seal ring and o-ring seal.

Ships ready to install.


This unit is Precision Machined from Solid Alumiuim T6061 Billet. The area around the original ribbed base has been strengthened as this is where these usually crack, our housing is more than double the thickness in the base area and does away with the weak ribbed design. We also include a new bottom seal retainer cap which is machined from Steel Bar rather than the flimsy stamped sheet metal original which is nearly impossible to remove without damage.

Expensive but clearly made to order and of good quality fits perfectly. Perhaps suggest selling retaining bolt at checkout? As I haven't got one!
