Early type Gas Pedal Cover Pad
Fits 230SL-250SL-280SL with plain type Pedal - *see Below.
Also fits some early 108,109,110 & 111 Chassis Models
*Please note that this replacement cover only fits Pedals without internal Cushion pad, it is 5/8"- (16mm) in overall thickness - these were used on early cars and cars with Manual Transmission.
This pad cannot be used on pedals which have an internal Foam cushion Insert as were used on late models and all Automatic Transmission models, these have a much thicker Pedal (approx. 7/8" - 22mm)
This Cover does not replace the floor mounting socket part of the Gas Pedal, if these sockets and the basic pedal assembly cannot be securely mounted to the floor and is not in otherwise serviceable condition then the entire gas Pedal must be replaced with a new unit.
