How do I return an item?

Returns & Exchanges

Only items originally sold and shipped by Authentic Classics will be accepted for a refund. Returned Items will be compared to our original shipping records and photos before any refund is processed.

All items must be returned within 14-days. A restocking fee of 15% will be applied to all returned items unless an incorrect part was shipped due to our error, in which case the restocking fee will be waived. All returns must receive a prior Return Authorization number. To obtain a return authorization please contact our customer service department at [email protected]. A return authorization number will be provided to you and must be displayed on top of the box in a visible location. For your protection, all returns should be insured for the full value of the item(s) and should be shipped via a service which provides Online package tracking as we are not responsible for the returned item until it is received in our warehouse. For exchanges on defective items we will pay for the return shipping using shipper of our choice and provide an insured return shipping label for the item. The item to be exchanged must be sent back using this label. Returns must meet the following criteria: All items must be in the original undamaged and clean packaging. All manufacturers documentation, installation manuals, labels, and stickers must be present. All items must not be tampered with or modified. All items must be in brand new unblemished condition, never installed and must be returned in the original packaging. All items sold as kits must be complete. Custom made parts are not returnable. Electrical components are not returnable. Any printed materials, (books, literature, wiring diagrams, etc.) as well as CD-ROMs are non-refundable due to their nature. No credit will be given on returns that do not meet tahe preceding criteria. We reserve the right to refuse any returns. The above return policys are strictly guidelines. Final decisions with respect to returns are made at the sole discretion and determination of Authentic Classics, LLC. Any refund will be reduced by the amount of the shipping and restocking fees paid by Authentic Classics. Incorrect items that were shipped due to an error on our part will be credited in full including shipping cost. It usually takes about 5-7 business days after we receive the item for the funds to show up in your account. We will only credit the same credit card you used to place your order. If your card is lost or stolen you will be issued an in-store credit. We can not credit the funds to a different credit card. If your order was paid via PayPal the refund will be processed through Paypal. ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT A VALID RMA # WILL BE RETURNED AT THE COST OF BUYER.

Refused and Undeliverable Shipments

On Domestic Shipments, a 20% handling fee plus all shipping charges both ways will be deducted from any Credit on Refused or Undeliverable Shipments which were shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer. Any international orders that are refused at the time of delivery will be subject to carrier abandonment of the package, at which time the ordered products would be discarded by the carrier. The customer will not be refunded for the value of the order and the discarded products are no longer retrievable.
